The Retaining Wall System plays a critical role in the development of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, ensuring stability, safety, and efficient land use along the railway corridors.

During the construction of the LRT, one of the main challenges was dealing with steep slopes and uneven terrain. To overcome this, retaining walls were implemented using advanced materials such as HDPE Uniaxial Geogrids and interlocking concrete blocks. These solutions not only provided strong soil reinforcement but also optimized space usage, reducing the need for excessive land take.

Key Benefits of Retaining Wall System in LRT Project:

  • Stability & Safety: Prevents soil erosion and sliding, ensuring a solid foundation for the railway infrastructure.

  • Efficient Construction: Simplified installation methods reduced construction time and costs.

  • Durability: Designed for long-term performance with minimal maintenance needs.

  • Land Optimization: Enabled the creation of terraces and usable land in sloping areas, expanding the functional space for the project.

By integrating retaining wall systems, the LRT project achieved greater structural integrity, long-lasting protection, and cost-effective construction—all while maintaining environmental balance and urban development goals.

This is a simple text

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..”, comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
